The Pinterest phenomenon is quite impressive. As you know it is a social network for sharing photos, placed on personal pinboards. Social networks are nothing new, nor is photo sharing, but the marriage of the two in a compelling and novel visual design has made all the difference.
In less then a year from launch, the site is already in the top 50 most visited websites in the US attracting more than 10 million monthly users.
Pinterest is fun to use and pleasant to look at.
However if you want to find who has the best pins and the best boards, that is a bit of a challenge. You see Pinterest just doesn’t show you the data that way.
As a result of this little bit of frustration – we all want the best dont we? – a group of us decided to created a simple website to give us what we need.
Toppinterestusers.com was born of this idea.
On the main page you can see the most popular pinners is descending order of popularity by number of followers. You can click through to see which of their boards are most popular too and then by clicking follow your are brought back to the appropriate link on Pinterest.
We have also organized the most popular by category. So, for example, if you want to see the most popular board in the category of cars and motorcycles, it is only one click away.
We hope this site will serve to help those out there who like us just wanted a simple way to find the top Pinterest users.
